Bishop's Stortford Swifts Football Club, who were formed in 1954, play there matches at Silver Leys, Hadham Road, Bishop's Stortford.

Over the past 55 years, the club has provided both senior and junior football to the Bishops Stortford community, currently running four senior teams.

There are two Saturday teams, which both play in the Essex Olympian League. The First Team play in Senior Division One and the reserves play in Reserve Division One.

The Sunday team plays in the Premier Division of the Terry Reed North West Essex Sunday Football League.

There is also a Veterans team (The Vets), for players over 35 years of age, which play friendly games against other similar Veteran sides as well as competing on the Hertfordshire County FA Veterans Cup.

Bishop's Stortford Swifts also have a youth team and an Under 10 side that both play on a Sunday in the Royston Crow Youth Football League.

The club has excellent facilities, including 2 football pitches, floodlit training area, changing rooms and The Swifts Sports Bar that is fully licensed and shows live sport on a big screen and HD TVs.
